PAGANINI - The magic of the sounds

With his violin play Nicolo Paganini (1782-1840) gained the status of a legend during his lifetime. His appearance had something mystic and his virtuosity seemed to be supernatural. The sounds he enlifted and captured with his instrument were not from this world. No wonder that he equally spellbound men and women, even entire cities and countrysides began to tumble in ecstacy when he performed his concerts. His stage performance was so phantastic, so unbeliveable that his audience was touched very deeply. He was called a god and a devil at the same time - he lived a life between the extremes.
